Spruce aims to utilize genetic editing and directed evolution to regenerate ecosystems and forests that have been laid to waste by deforestation.
The Tech
Use AI to recognize genomic sites impacting growth.
The Plan
Edit test-trees in indicated sites then let it grow and reproduce, and then examine its offspring to see if it has any mutations.
The Process
Grow test trees for multiple generations to test edit performance and durability using genome sequencing kits.
The Outcome
Repeat proccess until suitable gene line is established then we plan to deploy Spruce.

The proposed technology (CRISPR) has the potential to contribute towards economic growth at the global scale (and the potential) to be technically feasible in a theoretical/hypothetical scenario.
